Monday’s high temperature was a balmy 75 degrees - a new record in Manhattan for the day and for the month.
According to information from the K-State Weather Data Library, the previous record high was 70 degrees in 1911. The previous record high for the month was 74 degrees, a temperature Manhattan posted in both 1894 and 1939. (The record low is -11 degrees in 1902.)
But Monday’s warm afternoon is just a memory; the high for Wednesday isn’t expected to exceed freezing at just 32 degrees.
