By The Mercury

World-renowned puppeteers of The Jim Henson Company will take over Kansas State University’s McCain Auditorium in their performance of “Stuffed and Unstrung.” The show, featuring The Miskreant Puppets, will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, as part of the university’s 2011-2012 McCain Performance Series.

A comedy and variety show for adults only, “Stuffed and Unstrung” features improvised songs and sketches based on suggestions from the audience. The show includes a cast of more than 80 puppets brought to life by six talented puppeteers.

The Miskreant Puppets were listed as one of the top 10 best stage shows of 2010 by Entertainment Weekly and performed alongside Cee-Lo Green and Gwyneth Paltrow at the 2011 Grammy Awards. Tickets are on sale now, with prices starting at $13 for K-State students and $26 for the general public.
