Police say man hit with wrench

A Manhattan man reported that an acquaintance allegedly struck him in the head with a pipe wrench Saturday evening.

Lt. Stephen Boyda said that Eugene Milton, 52, 632 Griffith Dr., was involved with an altercation with the suspect at Milton’s residence and that the suspect allegedly hit Milton with a pipe wrench.

Riley County EMS transported Milton to Mercy Regional Health Center for head injuries.

Boyda said the suspect has been identified but no arrests have been made.

The investigation is ongoing.
