A Ratone Street residence was surrounded by police Wednesday morning after the RCPD received a report of an alleged aggravated battery involving a blunt object.

Lt. Josh Kyle said officers received the call at 7:40 a.m. and that the victim told police that the suspect was last known to be inside 1208 Ratone St.

Kyle said that multiple units were dispatched to the address, including the Kansas State University Police Department, and that a perimeter was set around the house.

He said that officers made contact with the people inside and were able to coax them from the house and speak with them without incident.

At the time of publication, no arrests had been made.
