To the Editor:
What has happened to journalism?
On September 26, the Mercury ran a story about Ms Megan May losing her job at Carmike Seth Child Cinema due to her anti-military statements on Facebook.  The story failed to provide readers full information, such as what she wrote on her Facebook page that made Carmike dismiss her. I had to research her comments via the Associated Press report that was mentioned in the article by Ms. Corene Brisendine. Is this how colleges teach journalists to write a story?
