Our own borders should matter more than Ukraine’s

By Letters to the Editor

To the Editor:

I find it both amazing and hypocritical that our politicians in Washington, D.C., exhibit such concern about the borders of Ukraine and absolutely none about our own U.S. borders.

Hispanics have became the majority population in California. Texas and Arizona, and a number of other states are close behind.

A recent raid in Texas re-vealed 250 illegals, not just from Mexico, but also from three Central America countries.

I realize big agribusiness welcomes and promotes cheap, easily bullied illegals, but can the U.S. economy absorb and support all the poor of the world?

Our politicians obsess about every border in the world except our own.
