The next two games, the last of pool play and the opening game of bracket were against the Lawrence Phenix, as the Moxie lost both games 5-0 and 13-3, respectively.  The Moxie came up with only three singles in each of the games.

The Moxie finished the tournament with a win over the Topeka Heat 4-3.  The Moxie plated the first run in the top of the first inning with a solo home run from Alexis Wilson.
