Ogden gas station robbed

A robbery occurred at 2:10 a.m. Monday, June 11 in Ogden at Casey’s General Store, 329 Riley Ave.

Carolyn Thornton, 21, and Shanequa Martin, 20, were working at the store when a male entered and demanded money after indicting he had a weapon.

The victims complied and the suspect fled the area on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. Thornton and Martin were not injured.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 5 foot 7 inches, skinny build, between 130 and 150 pounds.

He was wearing silver wireframe glasses with large lenses, a blue hooded sweatshirt, a camouflage colored scarf or cloth mask partially covering his face and dark blue jeans.
