Pottawatomie County authorities on Tuesday recovered a stolen motorhome, found other stolen property and drugs inside and arrested four Nebraskans believed to be responsible.

The Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office arrested Steven Gensler, 47, of Omaha, Neb., Denise Parks, 55, of Springfield, Neb., Douglas Hetrick, 34, of Omaha, and Teresa Minard, 30, of

Omaha, according to a Wednesday news release.

Sheriff Greg Riat said the suspects were arrested after a citizen called the office about seeing the motorhome in Linear Park near the Blue River bridge in Manhattan.

The caller recognized the motorhome as similar to one they heard had been stolen out of Nebraska and involved in thefts in Marysville.

A responding Pottawatomie County deputy found the motorhome, confirmed it was stolen and

took a man into custody.

The three others were arrested following a search by sheriff’s deputies and Riley County Police Department officers.

After obtaining a search warrant, authorities found more stolen items and an unspecified amount of illegal drugs inside the motorhome.

All four suspects were charged with possession of stolen property. Riat said other charges may be pending.
