Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be heard on Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at 7:00 P.M. in the City Commission Room, City Hall, 1101 Poyntz Avenue by the Manhattan Board of Zoning Appeals for the purpose of hearing all interested parties relative to a request for an EXCEPTION under the terms of the Manhattan Zoning Ordinance of the City of Manhattan, Kansas, to allow for the reduction of the minimum required sixty (60) foot front yard setback for an accessory structure along Firethorn Lane to forty (40) feet for a proposed detached garage in the R, Single-Residential District.
The EXCEPTION is for property located on the following tract of land: 200 Firethorn Lane
