The K-State Golf Course Foundation hired Steve Lambert as general manager.
Lambert spent eight years in the Navy as a fighter pilot, which culminated in a two-year tour as a demonstration pilot with the Blue Angels.
After his Navy tour, he spent 17 years with Jim Colbert Golf/Golf Enterprises as senior vice president of operations.
Prior to coming to Manhattan, he was the general manager of Oakmont Country Club in Denton, Texas.
Colberts Restaurant at Colbert Hills Golf Course hired Lance Gipson as the new executive chef.
Gipson is a native of Wichita and attended Garden City Jr. College and Kansas State University in hotel and restaurant management.
Prior to joining Colberts, Gipson had more than three years of country club sous-chef experience.
He specializes in fresh, natural and locally sourced ingredients whenever possible.
