The Rock Creek softball team traveled to Riley County on Tuesday night to face the Falcons in a Mid-East League doubleheader.

The Mustangs improved to 11-3 on the season with the 4-0 and 5-1 wins over Riley County.

Two errorless games from the Mustangs led to only one scored run in 14 innings of play from the Falcons. Katie Hodges and Blair Campbell held the Falcon hitters at bay in the circle.

In the first of the two wins, the Mustangs rallied to score all hour runs in the decisive fifth inning.

The Mustangs were much more offensive in the latter of the games with 11 hits, including three doubles.

The Mustangs travel to Wabaunsee next Tuesday and then hosts Silver Lake Thursday.
