Multiple vehicles damaged at nearby apartments

Police reported that four vehicles were damaged over the weekend while parked in lots at 2211 College Ave. and at Woodway Apartments, and that there was also damage to the front office of Woodway Apartments.

At 2211 College Ave., David Hogan, Coppell, Texas, Ryan Schram, 26, Manhattan, and Matthew Frost, 25, 2211 College Ave., No. 401, reported damage to the windows of their vehicles. Lt. Josh Kyle said Hogan’s 2007 Mazda 6 had $2,500 worth of damage, Schram’s 2005 Subaru Impreza and 2007 Saturn Sky had $10,000 worth of total damage and Frost’s Ford F150 truck had $2,000 worth of damage.

Kyle said that when officers arrived on the scene to meet with Schram, who reported the damage, they found that damage had also been done to windows in the front office of Woodway Apartments, 2420 Greenbriar Dr., and to a back window of a 2007 Kia Rio belonging to Michaela Torres, 20, 2430 Greenbriar Dr.

The total loss was $14,000.
