Riley County officers made multiple arrests Wednesday afternoon at America’s Best Value Inn and the Clarion Hotel for charges related to prostitution.

At America’s Best Value Inn, 1501 Tuttle Creek Blvd., officers arrested Shannon Channell, 41, Junction City, for prostitution. Channell is confined to the Riley County Jail on $500 bond.

Officers also arrested Donte Rayvon Roberts, 29, Wichita, for endangering a child, promoting prostitution, misdemeanor theft and failure to appear, and Decemantrea Nashay Richardson, 21, Wichita, for prostitution, misdemeanor theft and endangering a child. Both were released from jail on a $2,030 and $2,000 bond, respectively.

The hotel was previously the site of a prostitution and trafficking bust earlier in April after a 15-year-old girl had been brought to the hotel for purposes of prostitution.

At the Clarion Hotel, 530 Richards Dr., officers arrested Alexander Wayne Roloff, 29, Junction City, and Aaron Bailey Bryce, 21, Fort Riley, for patronizing a prostitute. Both were released on $500 bond.

Lt. Josh Kyle did not indicate that the arrests were related and declined to discuss the nature of the charges at this time.

He said the arrests resulted from a months-long investigation and that more information will be available at a later time.
