More vehicle burglaries reported

The RCPD received more reports of vehicle burglaries around Manhattan Wednesday, with two cars that appeared to be burglarized on Kensington Court and Walters Drive.

In one case, $153 worth of items were stolen from a car, including Oakley sunglasses.

Lt. Josh Kyle said that in both instance, there was no sign of forced entry.

The reports follow multiple reports from Wednesday morning of cars that appeared to be rummaged through in the area of James and Gary avenues and Lawrence Road, though the owners in those cases said nothing appeared to be stolen.

Kyle said the cases involved unlocked doors and he urges drivers to always lock their cars and place perceived valuables out of sight.
