MHS teacher goes to Washington, D.C.

Dawn Lindsley, Manhattan High career and technical education coordinator, attended the Association for Career and Technical Education’s (ACTE) National Policy Seminar on March 4-6 in Arlington, Va. and met with Members of Congress on Capitol Hill to talk about the value of CTE.

Lindsley, along with five other representatives of the Kansas Association for Career and Technical Education consulted with the Kansas Congressional Delegation to encourage continued support for CTE and other education and workforce development programs.
