The Manhattan High J.V tennis team took first place in an invitational hosted by Topeka High School this past Thursday. The Indians defeated Topeka, Topeka West, Lawrence, Leavenworth and Junction City.

MHS players were divided into pools for their first two matches and placing matches were determined by individual records in their pool.

Four Manhattan entries went 3-0 and took first place, including Adarsh Singh at No. 1 singles, Matt Turnley at No. 2 singles, Florian Wirsen and Ben Turley at No. 1 doubles and Jesse Crawford and Lakith Ranaweera at No. 2 doubles.
