MHS JV soccer team drops first game

The Manhattan High boys JV soccer team lost 3-1 to Great Bend on Saturday at Anneberg Park.

The JV outshot Great Bend 8-3, but dropped its first game of the season.

MHS’ lone goal came in the 24th minute when Kirkland Lambert scored off an assist by Brandon Religa.

In goal, Casey Hoffman, Wes Whitney and Sachin DeYoung each had one save.

The JV, now 4-1 on the season, was scheduled to play Tuesday at Wichita South.
