Meadowlark CEO resigns after 12 years

By The Mercury

The Meadowlark Hills Board of Directors on Wednesday accepted the resignation of CEO Willie Novotny. Board chairman Dirk Daveline said the board wants to focus on Meadowlark’s future in Manhattan, not on expansion in other areas.

Daveline said a committee of the board would conduct a national search over the next 120 to 180 days.

Daveline thanked Novotny for 12 years of service to Meadowlark, the first nine of which were as chief operating officer.

Meadowlark Hills is a not-for-profit retirement community off Kimball Avenue, near its intersection with North Manhattan Avenue.
