MCC volleyball competes at nationals

The Manhattan Christian College volleyball team traveled to Kissimmee, Fla., over the weekend, going 1-3 against the division’s top teams.

Seeded fifth, MCC opened up against fourth-seeded Kentucky Christian University, losing in three sets 25-16, 25-23, 25-21. They followed that up with a tough match against top-seeded Clearwater Christian College, falling 25-14, 25-13, 25-13.

On day two, MCC played Providence University College, losing in four sets 23-25, 25-23, 25-15, 25-23 before beating Ozark Christian College 25-18, 25-10, 25-11 to end its season on a win. The Crusaders finished the year with a 31-13 record.
