MCC soccer wins 15th consecutive regional title



The Manhattan Christian College men’s soccer team won a pair of games over the weekend to take its 15th straight Central Region championship and move on to the NCCAA Division II national tournament in Kissimmee, Fla., as the No. 4 seed.

The Crusaders play fifth-seeded Ozark Christian College at 6:45 on Nov. 7.

MCC rolled to an 8-0 victory over Central Christian College of the Bible from Moberly, Mo., in the first round of the NCCAA Division II Central Region tournament, before getting past Grace University 4-0 to advance to nationals. They are 17-5 on the season.
