The Manhattan Christian College men’s basketball team went on the road on Tuesday night, losing to Central Christian College in McPherson, 76-57.

MCC struggled from the field in the first half, shooting 33 percent with 11 turnovers. They trailed at halftime 34-24.

The second half started out the same way the first half ended, as the Crusaders continued to shoot poorly and turn the ball over as the deficit increased, with the Tigers cruising to victory.

Sage Ruis led MCC (1-3) with 15 points while Alex Hammack chipped in with 12 points.

MCC will be back in action Wednesday night at 7 p.m. as they host McPherson College, which is ranked 18th in the NAIA Division II preseason poll.
