The Manhattan Christian College men’s basketball team fell short in its upset bid against top-seeded Ohio Christian University, 94-75, on Thursday.
Ohio jumped out to an early 9-2 lead, but MCC rallied and the game remained close through most of the first half.
The score was tied at 37 with about 3 minutes remaining. However Ohio closed out the half on a 10-0 run to go in at the half up 47-37.
In the second half, each time MCC would make a run, Ohio would answer and continue to stretch out the lead.
Josh Camacho and Jack Mitchell led MCC with 18 points apiece.
