By The Mercury

After losing the opening game at the NCCAA Division II World Series, the Manhattan Christian College baseball team came within a game of the championship series this past weekend.

After losing 11-6 to Florida Christian College last Wednesday afternoon, the Crusaders defeated Arlington Baptist 6-5 in eight innings on Thursday morning and Dallas Christian 15-3 that night.

MCC beat Lancaster Bible College 9-1 on Friday afternoon, and the run ended with a 6-2 loss to Toccoa Falls that night. Toccoa Falls beat Florida Christian twice on Saturday to win the title.
