MCC goes 1-2 vs. Dordt College

The Manhattan Christian College baseball team went 1-2 in three games over the weekend to Dordt College, winning 7-0 and losing 5-2 and 16-4.

The Crusaders scored seven runs on 12 hits in the win of the series, getting a double from Trey Shelton and two RBIs from Zack Burrow.

In the 5-2 loss, Dordt led first in the third inning, and the Crusaders tied it up in fourth and took the lead in the fifth. But Dordt scored four runs in the sixth to pull ahead for good.

MCC was routed in a five-inning game during the 16-4 loss. Mike Foster and Brian Kloppe had doubles in the loss, and Foster added two RBIs.
