Manhattan-Wamego bowling tournament

The Manhattan-Wamego Women’s Bowling Association held a recent tournament that featured team events at Little Apple Bowl and doubles and singles events at the Kansas State Union.

Little Apple Lanes won the team event with 2,524 pins, with the team of April Gromlovits, Jennifer Lopez, Angie Burmeister and Shannon Watkins taking the title.

The second-place team was “Don’t Give A Dam” with 2,471 pins, and “Good Times” was third with 2,420.

Lauren McDaniel and Cara Prichard won the doubles event with 1,341, and Amiee Newland took first in the singles event at 703. Tina Elliott was first in all events with 2,11 pins.

The Manhattan-Wamego Women’s Bowling Association is hosting the Kansas State Women’s Bowling Tournament at Little Apple Bowl in Manhattan beginning Saturday, and it will go through the first weekend of May.
