RCPD officers arrested a 14-year-old Manhattan juvenile Thursday evening for two counts of battery and criminal damage to property.

Lt. Josh Kyle said Jonathan Dickson allegedly battered a family member and a police officer who responded to the scene.

He said Dickson was transported to the Geary County Juvenile Detention Facility, where he is still being held.

Kyle said Dickson is accused of criminal damage to property for allegedly damaging items inside his family’s house.
