A 23-year-old Manhattan man died early Sunday morning in a roll-over accident on K-63 highway near Seneca in Nemaha County.

Kansas Highway Patrol officials said Daniel Schwarz was driving his 2008 Chevrolet Silverado southbound on K-63 near mile-marker 28 when he lost control of his car after missing a curve in the roadway. His pick-up truck rolled into the ditch and came to a rest in an adjacent field.

Officials said three other occupants in the car were transported to separate hospitals: Michael Chase, 22, Beattie, taken to Onaga Hospital; Loralet Prell, 22, Home, taken to Stormont Vail; and Joshua Roady, 22, Marysville, taken to KU Medical Center.

Chase was transported by Senece AMR, while both Prell and Roady were life-flighted by Lifestar.

Officials said no one was wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident.
