Manhattan Attack wins sixth straight tournament

The 10-and-under Flint Hills Soccer Club’s Attack boys soccer team won its sixth consecutive tournament Sunday by claiming the Gold Division championship at The Tournament in the Woods in Raytown, Mo.

The Attack opened with a 3-3 tie against Tamashi Futobol and then defeated Blackfire Academy Elite 5-2 and KC Select Italia 11-0 in pool play.

In the championship, the Attack cruised to a 5-1 victory over Blackfire Academy Elite.

Team members include Alex Boyle, Ibrahim Ciftci, Ian Clark, Daniel Cortez, Andreas Delort, Myles Ferguson, Justin Li, Joseph Shuford and Kendric Smith. The team is coached by Stephen Ferguson.
