Man shot, arrested in JC

A Junction City gunshot victim was arrested Monday after being treated for his wounds at Geary Community Hospital, according to a news release from the Junction City Police Department.

Albert Banks, 29, was shot in the leg during an altercation on the 600 block of N. Eisenhower Drive.

He was charged with aggravated assault, criminal possession of a firearm and criminal damage to property, and is being held in the Geary County jail.

An investigation is ongoing. No other information was available at press time.
