Man injured in Pott County semi accident

WHEATON – A Wheaton man was injured Tuesday morning after the semitrailer he was driving rolled on Kansas highway 16 in Pottawatomie County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported Michael Hart, 36, was driving a 2004 Freightliner, which was pulling a 2013 Bulk Trailer, on Railroad Street in Wheaton when he made a right turn onto K16 just after 5 a.m.
The trailer’s tires went into the ditch, causing the semi to roll and land on its passenger side, blocking the highway.
Hart was transported to Onaga Community Hospital.
He was wearing a seatbelt, according to a KHP report.
