Man arrested on drug charges

A K-State student was arrested Friday for several drug charges following a police search of his residence.

Tyrone Smalls, 24, 825 Bluemont St., was arrested for possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute within 1000 feet of a school, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, felony possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of stolen property.

Officer Matthew Droge said police executed the search warrant at about 4:40 p.m. Friday as part of an ongoing investigation into illegal drug use in Riley County.

Smalls was arrested and released on $30,000 bond.
