A Wamego man was arrested Monday afternoon for driving under the influence after he reportedly crashed his vehicle into a traffic control device near the intersection of Kimball and Denison avenues.

Sgt. Brad Ingalls said Trevor Johnson, 25, left the road near the intersection and struck the device. He was not injured.

Ingalls said after an on-site investigation, officers arrested Johnson.

He is confined to the Riley County Jail on $750 bond.
