An Ogden man was arrested while allegedly burglarizing Wood Enterprises, 128 Riley Ave. in Ogden, early Monday morning.

Lt. Josh Kyle said officers arrested Jay Allen Morehead, 52, at approximately 3:30 a.m. after David Wood, 49, the owner of Wood Enterprises called police on Morehead. Kyle said Morehead allegedly attempted to flee the scene on foot, but officers apprehended him.

Police said Morehead allegedly stole miscellaneous tools and keys valued at $30 from the business. Kyle said the items were recovered and Morehead was charged with aggravated robbery and obstruction of the legal process.

He was released from the Riley County Jail on $5,000 bond.
