A Topeka man is in custody for allegedly battering a Riley County corrections officer at the Riley County Courthouse Monday afternoon.

Sgt. Brad Ingalls said Ryan Holle, 35, was making a court appearance while monitored by the corrections officer when he allegedly started a physical fight with the officer.

Ingalls said the officer had minor injuries but was able to quickly subdue Holle. Holle was recently arrested on two warrants, one for a motion to provoke probation on the original charge of aggravated battery and one for battery.

He is confined on $3,000 bond.
