Riley County officers arrested a Manhattan man for aggravated robbery early Friday morning in the 1000 block of Moro Street, after another man reported that his credit card had been stolen.

Officer Matthew Droge said that Clinton Schriner, 22, 807 Pottawatomie Ave., was arrested at about 2:15 a.m. by officers on patrol in Aggieville.

Droge said Kirk Porter, 26, Manhattan, reported that Schriner had allegedly stolen Porter’s credit card in the 700 block of North 11th Street, and after Porter confronted Schriner, a physical fight ensued. Droge said Schriner shoved Porter to the ground, causing injuries to his face, though no medical care was needed.

After an investigation, officers took Schriner into custody, where he was released on $7,500 bond.
