A Fort Riley soldier was arrested Wednesday for allegedly battering his spouse through physical force.

Leonard Charles White, 21, 1500 Oxford Place, Apt. 7, was arrested after Riley County officers were called to White’s apartment for reports of a domestic disturbance at approximately 10:40 p.m.

Lt. Josh Kyle said that White did not use a weapon, but allegedly caused significant bodily injury through physical force.

White was arrested for aggravated battery and released from the Riley County Jail on $2,000 bond.
