Riley County officers arrested a Junction City man Thursday after they received a report from Fort Riley Military Police that they had terminated a pursuit with the man in Ogden fleeing from the fort’s Ogden gate.

Riley County officers located Richard Jackson, 39, Junction City, at Walnut and Cimarron drives, where he was arrested for driving with a revoked license.

Lt. Josh Kyle said Jackson had attempted to enter the Ogden gate of Fort Riley at approximately 4:50 p.m., but problems arose over his identification.

Kyle said Jackson then allegedly revved his engine and took off, making a u-turn and fleeing into Ogden. Riley County officers located Jackson at about 5:21 p.m.

He was released from the Riley County Jail on $1,000 bond.
