Letting Martin go while keeping Currie was a big mistake for KSU

By Letters to the Editor

To the Editor:
Under most circumstances, KSU President Schulz,  it is admirable to stick by your man, but in the Coach Martin matter I believe you have made a big mistake. You have hurt individuals, including present team members, assistant coaches and their families, student fans as well as the Wildcat Nation, but the dollars your decision has already cost and will cost the university, vendors and the Manhattan community are impossible to calculate. I predict it will take decades, not years, to get back to where we were when this mess became public. Some knew there was trouble some time ago and had already pulled their financial support because they didn’t like the direction your man was taking our beloved KSU. Hold onto your hat now!
