By Letters to the Editor

To the Editor: It’s the moment every parent dreads while watching their kids play sports… the thud as the helmets clash, the thud when the heads bang on the soccer field, the thud when the ball connects with the brain at 90 miles an hour…

To learn more, join us at the Little Apple Pilot Club’s Women’s Seminar on Saturday morning, April 8 for “Concussion: Cause, Consequence & Care.” Speakers include Dr. Keith Wright of Stonecreek Family Physicians and the KSU athletics team physician, MHS head football coach Joe Schartz, former MHS women’s soccer coach Courtney Markle, KSU Athletics Director of Sports Medicine Matt Thomason, and former Manhattanite Mary Ann Scheneman.
April 1 is the reservation deadline. For ticket information, contact any Little Apple Pilot member or call Nancy at 776-0683. Nancy Knopp Rose Harris Seminar Co-Chairs 104 Oakwood Circle
