Law Enforcement Memorial Week

The Riley County Police Department will hold a memorial service Friday at 11 a.m. in front of the Riley County Law Enforcement Center to commemorate local law enforcement officers killed on duty.

Officials said activities include posting of the National Colors, comments by local dignitaries and the reading of the names of officers killed while on duty.

The public is invited to attend the ceremony.

National Law Enforcement Memorial Week began Sunday and will last through May 19.
