Lanie Page leads Wamego to win

At Holton, Wamego junior Lanie Page scored 25 points as the Red Raiders won their second game of the season, beating Holton, 45-34.

It was a closer game than Thursday’s rout of Rossville, as Holton trailed 10-8 after the first quarter, and just 18-14 at halftime.

The Wildcats made a run at the lead in the third quarter, outscoring Wamego 11-8 to pull within one point at 26-25.

The Red Raiders pulled away in the fourth quarter, scoring 19 points to Holton’s nine points.

Along with Page’s 25, senior Kaylee Page scored nine points for Wamego.
