TEMPE, Ariz. — Kansas State women’s tennis ended its fall schedule on Sunday at the ASU Thunderbird Invitational, as sophomore Carli Wischhoff and freshman Ivana Kubickova concluded their action at the Whiteman Tennis Center.
In doubles, Kubickova and Wischhoff won their only match of the day. The duo defeated Ronit Yurovsky and Kristy Dodge of Michigan, 8-4. The K-State pair is now 5-3 when paired together.
Kubickova brought her record to 11-4 this fall with a 6-4, 6-1 win over Nikki Flower of Ohio State. The product of Brno, Czech Republic closed out the fall season by winning seven of her last nine singles matches.
K-State will begin its 2013 spring season on Jan. 18-20 at the Bulldog Invitational in Athens, Ga.
