KSU women’s golf in 7th place



The K-State women’s golf team is in seventh place going into the final round of the BYU Entrada Classic at the par-72, 6,015-yard Snow Canyon Country Club in St. George, Utah.

Junior Carly Ragains is tied for fourth place overall after two rounds. She fired a 4-over 76 in the second round, the third-best score on the day, to move up 15 spots. Ragains collected three birdies on the day, including one on the second-hardest hole, the par-5, 490-yard No. 16.

Also sitting in the Top 10 is senior Gianna Misenhelter with a 13-over 157. The Overland Park native had the eighth-best score on Monday before dropping a position in the round. She also had three birdies in the round, including hole No. 16.

K-State is 20 strokes behind first-place Wisconsin going into today’s final round.
