KSU track and field resumes action in Lawrence

By The Mercury

The K-State track and field team will be in Lawrence today for the Bill Easton Classic — the team’s first road meet of the indoor season — in Anschutz Sports Pavilion.

It will be the second straight season the Wildcats will be competing in an indoor meet hosted by the Jayhawks, who had previously not hosted K-State since 2003.

Last season saw the Wildcats perform well at the Jayhawk Challenge. Eight athletes — five on the men’s side and three for the women — posted first-place finishes.
