Kay Evelyn Perry, 79, of Salina, died Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014, at home surrounded by her loving family.

The family provided the following information.

Kay was born Feb. 26, 1935, in Great Bend, the daughter of Loren Sr and Jessie (Hazel) Blake.

Kay was a dedicated beautician for more than 38 years, many of those working in Salina at Super Hair by Savage.

She was united in marriage to Wayne Perry on June 17, 1956 in Lawrence.

She was preceded in death by her parents Loren Sr. and Jessie Blake, brothers Loren Jr. and Leonard (Tuck), and sisters Joyce Robin and Sharon Sotkouski.

Kay is survived by her devoted husband, Wayne; caregiver and son Scott Perry (Jennifer), daughter Leigh Ann Montoy (Terry), grandchildren Portia, Sofiel and Alec Montoy, brother James Blake, special sister-in-law Elaine Bethe, and many wonderful nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services for Kay will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2014, at 10 a.m, at Roselawn Chapel, 1920 E. Crawford, in Salina. Lunch will follow the graveside service at Sunrise Presbyterian Church, 825 E Beloit.

As a young girl Kay loved to sing with her Grandmother Hazel in church. To honor her memory, contributions may be made to Sunrise Presbyterian Church, in care of Roselawn Funeral Home.
