The Kansas State women’s golf team will travel to Oxford, Miss., this Friday to play in the Ole Miss Rebel Intercollegiate this weekend, wrapping up play on Sunday.

The tournament will consist of 18 holes on Friday, Saturday and Sunday with a shotgun start each day.

K-State will send the scoring lineup of Carly Ragains, Ami Storey, Whitney Pyle, Gianna Misenhelter and Hanna Roos, which marks the second straight event the Wildcats have used this lineup. This lineup recently finished sixth at the Mountain View Collegiate.

Kristen Dorsey will be competing as an individual.

Ragains is looking to continue her successful start to the season, as she led the Wildcats with a 12th-place finish at the Mountain View Collegiate. The freshman earned a career best 54-hole score of 1-over-par 217, recording an 18-shot improvement from her first appearance at the Marilynn Smith/Sunflower Invitational in September.

Storey will also look to build on her successful finish at the Mountain View Collegiate, as she finished two strokes behind Ragains. The senior currently has a stroke average of 76.86.

Misenhelter will look to bounce back from her 37th-place finish at the Mountain View Collegiate. The sophomore currently leads the Wildcats with a 74.33 stroke average.

Pyle will look to continue her successful season, as she has recorded four top-20 finishes on the year and currently has the third-best stroke average on the team at 75.80.
