K-State women 12th at Hurricane Invitational

MIAMI, Fla. — The K-State women’s golf team fell two spots to finish in 12th at the Hurricane Invitational on Tuesday at the par-71, 6,107-yard Deering Bay Yacht and Country Club Golf Course.

The Wildcats notched a 51-over-par 335 in the third round to earn a 54-hole score of 114-over-par 966.

Whitney Pyle carded an 8-over-par 79 in the final round to finish in a tie for 27th.

Gianna Misenhelter was 34th, tallying a 54-hole score of 25-over-par 238.

Competing as an individual, Ami Storey notched a 35-over-par 238 to finish in a tie for 54th.

Olivia Eliasson was 65th. One stroke behind Eliasson was Hanna Roos who finished in a tie for 69th.

Paige Osterloo tied for 74th.

The Wildcats will be back in action March 23-24, when they travel to Tucson, Ariz., to compete in the Mountain View Collegiate hosted by the Arizona Wildcats.
