K-State tops Long Beach, 71-58

The Kansas State men’s basketball team got another big performance out of Marcus Foster on Sunday, as the freshman scored 17 points in a 71-58 win over Long Beach State.

The Wildcats jumped out to an early 22-7 lead and led 39-22 by halftime. Long Beach State ended the game on a 7-0 run to cut the deficit to 13 points.

Foster was 4 of 9 from the field and 4 of 8 from 3-point range. Shane Southwell scored 14 points and Omari Lawrence added 10.
