The 60th-ranked Kansas State tennis team will open the home portion of its 2013 spring schedule on Saturday, as the Wildcats host No. 23 Tulsa at 11 a.m., at Body First Tennis and Fitness Center.

The match is free and open to the public and will be the first of five home matches for the Wildcats this season.

During the home-opening match against the Golden Hurricane, K-State will host a USTA/ITA Campus Kids Day.

The USTA/ITA Campus Kids Day is designed to expose junior players, their parents and coaches to college tennis matches.

Any child in the age range of kindergarten to 8th grade is allowed to participate in the USTA/ITA Campus Kids Day activities.

Each participant in the Campus Kids Day will receive a free K-State tennis t-shirt, a K-State tennis poster and have a chance to win prizes. The kids will also participate in mini-serve contests, enjoy cookies and refreshments and have an opportunity to take a photo with K-State mascot, Willie the Wildcat.

On-court activities will begin immediately following the doubles matches.
